Hardboss UFC Middleweight Rankings

July 1, 2009 by Editor

After successful elbow surgery the pound-for-pound great, Anderson Silva will be defending his belt for a record seventh time against jiu-jitsu ace Demian Maia at UFC 112.

Though Maia is a formidable opponent most pundits are already writing him off as chum to Silva’s shark. If Belfort can win in his return, or Wanderlei can put together a streak, there may be hope yet for a competitive middleweight title fight, but for the time being we’ll have to settle for lopsided drummings courtesy of The Spider.

In other news, Yushin Okami is back to his winning ways, and the long-awaited return of Patrick Cote will come to fruition at UFC 113 where he takes on Alan Belcher.
